What were you last doing with the tractor? The pto switch under the fender area, below the pto lever is subject to being damaged or the harness pulled loose. If this happens , you have the no start.

Check the switch and the harness to it. Then if no response from starter, hold key in the start position while you move the gear shift levers around to see if the neutral switch is fault. It is under the shift cover and only has wires exposed.

Do you have a voltmeter to check unit. The next thing to check would be whether the starter switch is actually sending power to the switch terminal on the starter. If it is the starter solenoid could be bad.
