Acura Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.I would start with having the battery charged and tested to make sure it has not just failed. If in fact it has jumping it will not usually work. As for the navigation code you are going to need to contact your dealer along with proof of ownership and they will provide you with the code to reset it. Do this after the battery and starting issue has been resolved.
Before you replace the starter take a 12 volt test light and or a volt meter and down at the starter with a help holding the key in the crank position check and see if you have power at the black/white start wire as well as the black/yellow battery cable . If both have battery voltage and the starter dose not spin then yes, it has failed. If that is the cases you can likely replace it depending on your skill level. If you need the steps to do so, let me know and I can send them.
