When I got in my car it wouldn't start. No sound when I turn

Customer Question

When I got in my car it wouldn't start. No sound when I turn the key. Had just driven downtown. Fan, Windows, radio work.
JA: Is the car in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your car has a "wheel lock" feature?
Customer: It was in park
JA: What is the model/year of your Acura?
Customer: 2003 Acura TL
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Hopefully myself, but in garage if I can't. Cleaned battery cables, tried it in neutral,
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No prior starter problems such as sounds trying to start. It makes no sounds at all when I turn the key.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Acura Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello, do you have a test light or volt meter available so we can test a few things?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I'm sorry I am not where my car is now. I took it to a service station.

Hello, I can help you with your concern. but we will need to perform a few tests. Let me know when you are at the vehicle and have access to a voltmeter or a test light.
