My Acura TL is 3000 ***** ***** past service. Just wondering

Customer Question

My Acura TL is 3000 ***** ***** past service for A123. Just wondering how bad off that is
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: I have a 2011 Acura TL SH-AWD. It is 3000 ***** ***** past due for service. The services required are A123 and A6. Can I drive this another 500 ***** ***** without service and without severely damaging the car?
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Mechanics for Acura generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Hello I will help you with your question,

You have had the service message on for 3000 miles?

It's actually "service past due" technically it is "-3000 miles"

The service required is oil change, transmission fluid change, differential fluid change and rotate the tires.

If you check the engine oil level and find it full or halfway above the add line then you can drive for another 500 miles.

You won't severly damage the engine but you are increasing the wear on the components so it is not a good idea to make a practice of doing this.

Please let me know how I can help

Thank you

78000 miles

You should be OK as long as the oil is above the add line, try to get the service done sooner in the future.

Please let me know if you have further questions

Thank you
