I cannot complete e-filing...

I cannot complete e-filing. Tells "you need to update this program before you can e-file". Have done so several times , including following restart and with fire walls off. Still receive same message.

It is my downloaded " My 2017 Taxes Deluxe"

Accountant's Assistant: What's the brand and model of your computer? And the Operating System (OS)?

A Dell Inspiron 3668 with Windows 10 Home version 1709 and OS Build 16299.309

Accountant's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Inspiron? Have you installed any updates recently?

Not lately, computer is approx 1 year old

Accountant's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

HR software does charge my Credit Card for the State, say it's sending tax info, then stops and tells me to update befor it can complete

First, open the TurboTax window.

Then before doing anything else, go to the Online menu

and choose Check For Updates.
