Hi, I'm Robert and I'll be helping you with your financial software question.

Expert:  Robert M. replied 2 months ago.

you should be able to just open them as a company file if the files end as .qbw

if you respond to me a couple of times the site will allow me to put up an offer for the remote service.

OK, I am here now. The Carbonite technician put the file on my desktop.
Expert:  Robert M. replied 2 months ago.

ok so what happens when you double click on the file ?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It asks me what app to use but QB is not on the list
Expert:  Robert M. replied 2 months ago.

Then either the quickbooks is not installed or that is not the correct file

does it say what type of file it is ? the extension part after the period in the name ?
