I am missing the account I use the most in Quicken for Mac 2017
JA: What Operating System (OS) are you running on your Mac?
Customer: 10.12.5
JA: When did you purchase your Apple? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: over 2 years ago. I have shut down the program and that didn't help.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No. I just don't know what happened. It was working a week ago.

The most frequent cause of this is you pulled up the wrong data file

Look for another quicken file in your documents folder

See if you can find a backup file

you should be able to use the finder to search for quicken data files

just clicking on one will bring up quicken with that file open
