I was using quicken 2015 but hadn't done a bank download

Customer Question

I was using quicken for mac 2015 but hadn't done a bank download since 2/6/2015. I just purchased quicken for MAC 2016 and it brought in the file and when I synced with the bank it only went back to 9/1/2015. How do I get the data from 2/6/2015 to 8/31/2015?

doing an online update through quicken will only bring in the last 90 days.

what you can do is go to the banks website and download a quicken format (qfx) file of the data that you are missing. each bank site is a little bit different but it is usually available when looking at transactions or creating a report of transactions.

then import the data file ( qfx) into quicken.

On the mac just double clicking on the downloaded file should do that.

or the import should be under the file menu
