You can... but... since you have a version of quicken that is older than Quicken 2003, you will need to use an intermediate version of Quicken (Quicken 2004) to update it first, then, you can import the Quicken 2004 file into Quicken 2014

There is also one other important caveat. When you buy Quicken 2014, you need to purchase Quicken Deluxe or above... you cannot import an old file into Quicken 2014 Starter.

You can actually download Quicken 2004 Deluxe for free from Intuit for this purpose.

The information here explains in detail what I've just told you, so feel free to read it over and make sure you are familiar with what you need to do.
Look for blue-colored wording that says "use Quicken 2004 for Windows". If you click on the blue wording it your computer will download Quicken 2004 (QW04DLX.exe). You will then need to run that file and install it.
