When I try to open a QIF file it. Under my file menu I do not see a file import tab. How do I import a QIF file

If you do not see it under File, Import, then they have phased it out (this was Quickens plan to phase out QIF files)

Where did this file come from?

It was sent to me by the person who previous use to do the bookkeeping..

So no way to import it? It is useless?

Yes, and QIF is actually for MACs usually, so I suspect he / she was using a MAC.

You need the QDF file (this is the actual data file) or a QDF-backup file (the Backup), but this file is useless sorry.
