I have just upgraded from XP to Windows 7 and seem to have lost all my QuickBooks details. Is there anything I can do to get them back?
what do you mean by "details"

If the program is still there and running you can do a search for *.qbw and that should find your old data file
copy it to documents folder

then in quickbooks go to file / open company
and browse to the documents file and select the qbw file that you copied there.

If you can not open the quickbooks at all let me know and i will tell you where you can download it again for free if you have your license number
