Error code XXXXXXXXXXX I have completed 1040 and started on Ill1040. When I start ttax I get this e code. Howc can I work around this? Can I start a new return? Can I install this on a second computer? I have the 2012 Turbotax deluxe Disk purchased last Nov '12.

I started a new file using same name. When I went to SAVE it said "Replace previous version?" In error I clicked YES and wiped out the previous file. Now I am trying to recover the origional file full of data. How do I recover previous file?

You cannot sorry.

When you saved over it wiped the old file. there is no way to recover it.

If you deleted it, yes, but you overwrite it and this is different sorry.
