Our Hamster escaped today from his cage and we think he fell from about 3 ft onto a carpet, He was lost anywhere from 6 to 10 hours. He appears to be fine, but is obsessively drinking. Could that indicate an injury? On another note could the eclipse affected his behavior and had him awake during the day?

If he's had no access to water over the last 6-10 hours, he's likely suffering from mild dehydration. If he's eating and drinking well and he's active, this should indicate that there is likely not an internal injury as we'd expect to see him in a more critical state if he'd suffered internal damage. That said, make sure to keep a close eye on him over the next few days. Chances are that he's been awake the entire time he's been out of the cage due to stress but the eclipse itself likely had little, if any, bearing on the fact that he was awake during the day. 48 inch class led hdtv. remote doesn't work. watching t v a day ago at night. everything fine and then heard a loud pop coming from the t v and it went black. no screen no sound. remote would not turn it on. no manual way found. cable on and working find. this dead remote would work on the bedroom vizio. new batteries installed nothing happened. did t v blow something. cable co can't help. rick

When plugging back in, go directly to the wall outlet, bypassing any power strips or surge protectors. If this reset process does not work, it would unfortunately confirm an internal hardware failure. This is something that would require repairs to correct; if you're thinking about a do it yourself repair, you'll need to be comfortable and skilled with electronics repairs, which could include dismantling the set (removing the back panel of the tv), diagnostics testing with a multimeter, changing out boards as needed, and possibly desoldering/removing and soldering/replacing individual components. If you’re considering repair at a local shop, you’ll find a typical repair to be around $300 for diagnostics, parts, and labor. For a tv of this size/age however, replacement will make more sense. You can get a brand new LED tv with a fresh warranty, from a more reputable and longer lasting brand, in the $400 range. I have a Honeywell VisionPRO TH8000 series thermostat. This afternoon I came home and the screen was blank. The AC wasn't working either. I pulled the front of the thermostat off and changed the batteries. One of them had gone bad with some white corrosion around one terminal. I cleaned that off before replacing the batteries. Now the screen does come on but it doesn't seem to be connecting to the units. Also, the backlight isn't coming on. The temp for AC is set well below the room temp and it's set on permanent hold. I also checked the breaker and that was good. What next?

No the lease goes with the sale of the property.She can hold out for what she wants here or rent from the new owner.The new owner takes the property subject to the existing lease.She has no legal reason to leave unless he meets her price.I would counter here with a higher amount. I fear the new owner maybe hostile and even if she has legal right to be there repairs might be hard to come by. Two or three months rent sounds better to me. I am in a none legal domestic partnership and we are split up. she wants the relationship to be over, when I am working to fix it. I am now homeless I cant be around her she will get me thrown in jail. the landlords don't want her there but also don't want me to have to go through an eviction. so how can I get her out of the house? Ok, then unfortunately you can't force her out of the property if she is on the lease. She has the same rights as you do as a tenant..But there is nothing legally that would prevent you from returning if you chose to do so..If the rent isn't paid in full, then the landlord will file to evict. He can choose to evict both of you or just her if he is sympathetic to your situation and wants to continue renting to you after he evicts her..As an aside, in addition to being an attorney, I have also been a landlord for over 26 years.....thanksBarrister

It will not print. The printer sends the paper through but nothing prints on grayscale. Last night it ran out of black ink so I filled the container but nothing printed. Nothing prints when color is selected. All the levels show full but in the window for the ink levels the black shows just a little bit in the column. The other three show partial but I just filled all of them. What do you suggest? It was printing fine and then it printed two sheets in gray print and since then nothing has been printing.
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It is an Epson ET-2550. The black was refilled on February 9, 2017 and before then it was filled on July 28, 2016. So going back 7 months would make it November or October of 2015.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: I am using a PC and I am using Windows 10. The printer is "printing" in that it is sending the paper through the printer - but no ink is being registered on the paper. I have chosen to print in color and in grayscale and nothing prints. Thanks.

Customer: Last night I was printing a lot of genealogy pages (like I went through about 1 1/2 reams of paper) for a friend who is leaving tomorrow and I had to get it printed out to give him today. Today when I turned it on, I also filled the other three colors. Oh, last night I did a nozzle check on it twice.

You do this on the printer itself.You could do it from the printer utility, meaning on the computer under the print preferences (right click the epson) then under the utility tabbut it's easier to just go to the printer itself under settings, then maintenance then head clean.

I have a piece of land in the mountains and there's an old fence that cuts through the property dividing my property and another piece of property it is an old wood post with barbed wire. I recently purchased the property about 3 years ago and just had it surveyed by a surveyor turns out that my property extends further past the dividing fence on to what appeared to be my neighbors side. I paid alot of money to have it surveyed and have it staked out. After doing so my neighbor took down the stackes that were put up to show boundary lines. The grass is tall so now i don't know how to determine were they were set. Also he recently poled up the old fence and installed a new barbed wire fence. My question is am i still entitled to the rest of what property should be mine?
