JA: Are you fixing your GLI yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Car was running fine, after I got home park the car and check fuses in the engine compartment for blown fuse on ac
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: After I finished all of them were fine. When I try to start the car no crank no start
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: All the monitors like check engine light, blakes, airbag and so on disappear from the cluster

hey how are you

1- check battery for 12 volts

2- check battery cables from battery to starter

3- if you can try to see with test light at start position do you have 12 volts at starter

Also ltry this after making sure battery is good and HOLDING 12 volts at start position ,like under load

Master reset Procedure

1- Disconect Battery Cables ( Negative & Positive Cables )you can use any electrical wire as an extension if battery cables don't reach .

2- Hold cables Together for 60 secs ,then let go

3- Wait 15 minutes

4- Make sure all doors are closed

5- Reconnect battery Cables

6- Lock & unlock the vehicles using the key from driver door side (if you have a key fob with no blade key, just lock & unlock using the key fob buttons)

7- Enter the vehicle and attempt to start

have you checked the main fuse
