I am confident we can resolve your problem together. Pleaseunderstand that I don't know your skill level. In most cases when you have a problemwith the way the vehicle performs, specialized tooling is required to acquire computerdata/information or engine testing results. We didn’t build these complicated vehicles; wejust diagnose and fix them. Also understand that I can't see, smell, hear, or touch thevehicle either, so it may take a few replies to get to satisfactory results. Note there may be an issue where the complexity of the issue will require a Premium Service. This service will be an addition to the normal question cost. Usually it does not come down to this but keep in mind!! I am also going to direct you with the fastest, easiest and most common things to check first. Please bepatient and permit me to do what I do best.I also try to give all of the information you may need, expecting a “positive rating” inreturn. I will also continue assisting you after you have rated me, if necessary. If thereis any reason I cannot get a positive rating, please let me know why “in advance”, so Ican go another direction for you. I am sorry you’re having this problem; I’ll help youthrough it.Below is my first answer or request for more information. If you do not understand it, or you need more information from me, or need me to go in more detail.
i do need some more information
please let me know Don!!!
no it would not . do you have a scanner to see if there are any short to ground faults to the injectors or other solenoids?
did you run a scan to see what faults are stored?
if not please do!!
speed sensor ... crank sensor broke?
no if you do not have fuel pressure you need to check if you have 12 volts at the fuel pump connector.
Don thanks for getting back. the p0341 is a fault with the engine and the p0715 is a fault with the transmission. when you replaced the motor did you replace the timing belt while the engine was out of the vehicle before installation?
The next step is to recheck the timing belt to make sure that the belt is in time correctly!!
click on the link above to set top dead center on the crank and then see if the cam gear is lined up correctly on the mark on the back cover of the cam gear cover.
line up the crank at top dead center then if it is out then remove the belt from the top and move the gear in the direction where it needs to be lined up with the mark and reinstall the belt. then follow the video to set up the belt tension correctly!
ok do this line up the torque converter to top dead and then look the cam gear to make sure it is on the mark then look at the crank you will see a mark on the pulley . there is a v notch on the lower timing cover make sure it is lined up . the tq should only go in one way!!
let me know!!
