Customer Question

Hello have a 2000 Jetta 1.8 Turbo that runs great...normally. For some reason the car's
motor will only idle...runs smooth but it will not accelerate...gas pedal checked and reported that it has NO issues...I know little about VW and not a fan of computer ops on
cars...age 74 grew up without all that...My question is I believe that the problem with the
car is the throttle body...or the drive by wire...
IF YOU CAN GIVE ME A THE RIGHT CORRECTIVE ACTION OR INSTALL I WILL PAY YOU
$25...AFTER I FIND THAT YOUR SUGGESTION ACTUALLY WORKS AND CORRECTS THE
PROBLEM...IF IT DOES NOT...THEN I WON'T PAY...IF THIS IS AGREEABLE REPLY PLEASE

HI,

Ok, is the check engine light on, and if so, what are the fault codes?

What do you have in the way of diagnostic testing equipment?
