The driver side power window won't roll up. Mother is fine, troubleshooter that already. Took door panel off and found plastic mechanism is broke that rolls and turns window attachment hooked to motor
JA: Have you checked the fuses?
Customer: Fuses are fine

Customer: 2001 1.8 t jetta

Hi there,

Sounds like you have a broken window regulator, quite common.

If the motor still operates ok, you should be able to replace the regulator separately.
