Hello, Welcome to Just Answer.

The timing marks for your car is, the camshaft on the frontof the campulley there is a mark that must line-up with the service of the cylinderhead. The crank shaft pulley has a arrow on the plastic cover and the pulley has a punch mark that must line-up.

This is the only marks you need to set. When installing the belt set the crank shaft pulley a have tooth of in a anticlock direction. The belt will pull the crank pulley up when setting the tensioner pulley.

This should answer your question but should you need more information please do not hesitate to ask. This is a video demonstration on how to install with all the marks shown.

there is no arrow and the video doesn't show to have one either. the guy made his own marks. so did i but i think the car was off time when i received it and i want to make sure it is timed right before starting it and bending a valve.

Try this video

The bottom one should have a mark but I see the cars in the USA do not.

i see that as well since i have the car. so no telling how to set the time on the crank?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
if the belt came off while running and the thing got off time here is no real way to find the time without guessing

If you remove the no: 1 cylinder spark plug at the spot when the camshaft pulley is on the mark. Insert a thin long screw driver into the spark plug hole. Turn the crankshaft to and fro about 2-4 degrees and observe that the screw driver stand dead still. Mark that position on the crank shaft pulley. That will be the TDC mark.
