Hi, my name is ***** ***** do you mean by an electrical surge?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
hi Tim, i say electrical because if idling the engine try to stall, (once every minute or so) the radio and the head lights flash off. just now, it did taking off from a traffic light and the ABS flashed and buzzed, the glow plug light started to fash and check engine light came on

also noticeable due to the blow motor speed variation when it happens
Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 1 year ago.

ok, this is usually caused y a bad alternator, do you have a voltmeter? It is easy to verify?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Alternator?? it would not cause the radio to shut down and the head lights don't you think? it has a brand new powerfull battery.. it should hold unless the alternator is in short circuit
