Is theft light on dash flashing or does everything appear to be normal?

i do not know i will go look where on the dash do i look?

It is on RPM gauge, should be a car with key going through it.

there is no such icon on the rpm gague
i believe there is a small light on the lock button on the drivers side and that is not blinking

Ok, lets start by disconnecting the mass airflow sensor to see if it starts when disconnected. If not disconnect battery, touch cables together for 10 seconds, let sit for 15 minutes with battery disconnected, then try to start. Let me know, thanks.

does not look anything at all like my engine

this is far too complicated for me and the time i have will have it towed to the dealer thanx anyway

If you take a picture of your engine for me I can circle sensor. I'd recommend at least trying battery disconnect if possible. Let me know what dealer says or if there is anything else I can do to help. I can always give a second opinion on what dealer says and if cost was fair.
