My son wrecked s 2004 Jetta, I've replaced the deployed

Customer Question

My son wrecked his 2004 Jetta, I've replaced the deployed airbag and had the airbag computer reprogramed, the car will start for only a second but will not run. I assume there is a fuel shut off relay that stops fuel flow during an accident, just need to know how to reset it.

When you say the computer was reprogrammed, what do you mean? Often an airbag deployment will burn circuits in the module.

Does the immobilizer light come on with the key on? Does the light appear after the car dies?
