Hello, I'm Brandon- VW tech.

It looks like the accelerator pedal position sensor has a problem.

Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

The pedal sensor communicate to the throttle sensor which open and close the air going into the engine.

Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

This is one possibility.

The tech will need to link up a scanner and read the trouble code.

Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

The code will give you and the tech an idea what is really wrong with the car.

Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

It takes about 10 minutes to retrieve and define the code.

Expert:  internal88 replied 1 year ago.

If is the pedal position sensor you are looking at about $480 repair.
