I have a 1988 vanagon. it wont fire, turns over fine but just will not fire. plenty of fuel and good battery, could it be the spark plugs?

Have you inspected the spark plugs, and done a spark test? More likely, if you know you have good compression, and that fuel is being delivered to the injectors, then you either have a bad coil, or a bad distributor. But you can't just throw parts at it, you need to test these systems to see where the failure is. Let me know if you have spark, or if you need help setting up to test it.
