2003 vw new beetle turbo s. clutch pedal goes to floor without

Customer Question

2003 vw new beetle turbo s. clutch pedal goes to floor without releasing clutch. Master cylinder tests good. No fluid leaks. We suspect slave is bad or valve/buffer that attaches to master.

On this set up when this happens the clutch has worn out when the clutch wears out the release bearing extends too far and since it uses the hydraulic fluid it leaks out causing the pedal to go to the floor without returning. You need to replace the clutch assembly and the release bearing
