Electric Golf Cart. I have a Western 42V electric golf cart that I am having problems charging. I need to talk to someone who can give me some guidance. Thanks, Matt
Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX X am at your service to assist with your VW problems.I have some experience with battery operated vehicles and would like for you to elaborate on the problem, please. These battery operated vehicles can have problems with their chargers and/or the batteries themselves. To test whether it is the charger use a multi meter, set to volts, switch on the charger and take a reading at the plug, there should be more than 42 volts present. If this is not the case, the charger is the problem. If, however, the charger is alright the battery might be the culprit. If your vehicle has a lead acid battery I can let you know how to test it.Please let me know the outcome of the charger test and about the battery.Regards, Martin.
Hi Martin,
I'll see if I can borrow a multimeter from someone and do the checking.
Matt
Hi Matt,I shall be waiting for your answer.Regards, Martin.
