I have the front passenger wheel off of my 2002 VW Jetta. There is a sensor bracket rubbing against the brake line, it may be a wear sensor. The brake hose is between the sensor bracket and the hub. In this position, it has rubbed some rubber of the side of the line. I removed the bracket and placed the line behind it, but it will still rub. How is this bracket supposed to be installed? Do you have a detail?

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX X'm here to help get your problem resolved. Here is a picture of sensor and how wiring should be routed, this is the wheel speed sensor. You can also remove wheel on drivers side to see how its routed. Let me know if you have any questions at all and only rate when satisfied, thanks.

My wheel has two sensors. The one that is the problem is on the other side of the hub from where you picture shows. These is a bracket about three inches long that mounts to a pad on the strut. This bracket is the one rubbing the brake line.
Ok, let me know if this picture helps and give me a few while I look for some better pictures. Thanks.

My bad. This is the front driver side wheel, Do you have a detail for this one?
It would look the same but opposite sides. That picture should be enough to show you position of bracket to brake line. If worst comes to worst I'd spend the extra 5 minutes removing passenger side wheel so you could have better comparison. Let me know if you have any questions at all and only rate when satisfied, thanks.
