2005 Jetta A/C won't work: compressor clutch won't engage. No blown fuses in the fuse box or on the battery-mounted fusebox/fusible link box. Connected r134 can to lowpressure side: won't draw the gas (guess cause the compressor still won't spin). Cooling fan running normally. Is there a relay or a high-pressure switch involved, and how do we test?

Welcome to Just Answer!!!When you activate the ac do the engine fans come on high speed??
Passenger side fan operates. Driver side doesn't.
Ok you need to fix the fan issue before the ac works they need to work in high speed when the ac is turned on , you can run direct power and ground to that fan connector if it only has one speed then thats your issue . I hope this helps. Please provide me positive feedback for my time and knowledge this is the only way i get compensated thank you !!
I'm to test the Driver side fan directly: then what? Is there a fan relay, if so, where is it? Is it affected by A/C gas pressure or the pressure limit switch?
Relist: Incomplete answer.
If the fan works on high and low speed directly and still wont come on when the ac is turned on there is a fan control module located under the battery tray better seen from the bottom of the vehicle .
