VW Golf Mk 6: A few minutes after leaving and locking the car I return to find all the windows down. It's happened twice. Is their a sensor that can trigger this behaviour?

Hi this is normally caused by wither the door lock or the remote key. If you press and hold the open button on the remote by mistake or something presses it whilst it's in your pocket it will cause this to happen. Also if the door lock is partially stuck towards the open position again it will cause all the windows to open.

I usually recommend that you have the comfort closure function programmed out of the convenience ecu. Once this has been done it disables this function will no longer work and so far every time it has solved this problem. This will need to be done by either you local VW dealer or VW specialist as it has to be done with diagnostic equipment.

I hope this helps and if I can help further please feel free to ask
