Need to replace the Secondary Air Injection Pump on my 1999 Eurovan Camper. Dealer diagnosed it and said that they could not get it to run. They said it is getting a signal to run and they put power to it separately, but it would not run. Should I buy a Pierburg or Hella on the Internet for $400, or should I try a really cheap Replacement for $150 from Auto Parts Warehouse? Can you recommend a good web site for parts. How hard would it be to install it? Can I just remove the sheet metal shroud under the engine or do I have to pull the front bumper and radiator? Where can I get a procedure? I don't have a shop manual. Thanks.
Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX X'm here to help get your problem resolved. I would go with the cheap one as there isnt much to the air pump so I dont see any reason to go with the more expensive one. You can replace it without removing front bumper, here is pictures/instructions. You can just remove shroud. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.
