Welcome to Just Answer!!!

You have a dsg transmission which will require special tools to fill it this is why they charge so much they fill transmission trough the bottom of the trans where they remove the big allen bolt and put the adapter and gravity fill the transmission with 5 quarts of the correct vw dsg fluid only and then they start the car and check the fluid when the trans is hot at 35 degrees Celsius which a scan tool will be needed to check the trans temperature they also replace the filter located on top of the trans under the battery tray this is they do very recommended to pay the fee i know its pricey but if done wrong it could damage the transmission . I hope this helps.
