Have you had the recall for the coils done within the last year ?

Customer replied 782 days and 22 hours ago.

Was done at schmelz countryside as a recall but im thinking the coils that the dealer installed may be defective

Ok we have seen many issues even with the new coils but since you have not replaced the plugs in so long I recommend you try this first if the plugs don't fix it then replace the coils . I hopefuls helps .

Approximately how much will it be to replace the coils and spark plugs on the 1.8 turbo passat? I am guessing the coils can be replaced for free as part of the recall and then the spark plugs.

About $150 for both thats spark plugs and the labor
