replaced sending unit
Welcome to Just Answer!!!By sending unit do you mean the sensor mounted on top of the trans housing ??
Ok remove the speed sensor and put a drill on the piece that sticks out of it then rotate the piece with the drill and turn the key on does your speed work then ??
the sensor is a solid piece of black plastic, there are no moveable parts?
Look on the inside of the sensor you should be able to spin the black piece in the middle we put a drill on it
oh ok I thought it was a different sensor, I have to step away for an hour, I will try and see if that works when I return
Ok, Sorry for the delay, yes when I put the drill on the tip of the sensor the speedometer worked fine
Ok then the issue you have is that the speedo in the transmission has split in half you will need to open up the transmission to replace this piece very common issue . I hope this helps.
