I have a vw passat 2002 with code p0102 what does that mean and how do i fix it
Is this the only code stored?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Well it actualy has code p0171 bank1 and p0174!
The problem is either a vacuum leak or the MAF sensor is bad . Most common is a faulty MAF sensor. You will need to replace the MAF sensor with a factory sensor to fix this issue . These are the next steps . Hoped this helped. Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated.

The car reaches close to 30mph and makes this big jerk! I dont go above that speed afraid that transmission might mess up! That happend right after i took the maf off and blew air in it and replaced it! Is that the causing problem?
Yes absolutely . Was a factory Maf used .

No i just blew on the old one and put it back it dosnt seem dirty or fried nor the actual sensor or the wires! Do u still think i need a new one!?
Yes that's the most common issue . If there are no vacuum leaks then this is the next step. Hoped this helped.Positive feedback and bonuses greatly appreciated .
