I have a vw 2003 convertible beetle and somehow the glove compartment box became locked. I have unlocked it with the key, and am able to turn the key but can't open the glove box. The manual is in the glove compartment box so I can't look at that either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Nothing-the key lock turns to show me that it is locked then, but I still can't open it.
Ok more then likely you will need a new glove box door because this is the only way you will be able to replace the fault lock on the handle they do not see the handle by itself you have to buy the glove box door . I hope this helps.
