Beetle: thrust..it has 4 pin connector, my turbo does not work

How can I check my thrust sensor p/n PA66-GF30, I removed it has 4 pin connector, my turbo does not work. 05 turbo beetle.

Already Tried:
checked 1 or 2 sensors on the turbo.

The part # XXXXX gave is not a part #.We dont have a sensor called the thrust sensor . Do you have faults stored in the ecm if so wich ones?

Yes, I emailed the faults the first time I asked for help, can you retrieve my prior info to you guys?

There are so many experts on here that we all have different customers but i have located the sensor it is the boost pressure sensor mounted on top of the inter cooler correct?? can i also have your vin # XXXXX i can look at my repair manual to look at the specs for the sensor thanks

  • Connect multimeter with test leads to terminals 1+3 connector for voltage measurement.
  • Switch ignition on.
Specified value: at least 4.5 V


Heres the spec on what pins you need to check to make sure you are getting power to the sensor we don't see too many issues with this sensor

ok I'll check the voltage, I also noticed when I removed it the sensor had oil around it, also can I check resistance on any of the pins on the sensor?
