1999 passat: there are no interior lights working which fuse..relay

Resolved Question:

i have a 1999 passat , there are no interior lights working which fuse is it , also is there a relay , and where would i locate these items on the vehicle

yes i have cheched fuse number 14

Ok just make sure you all the fuses with a test light before taking the next step . The issue may be with your comfort control module located under the carpet on the drivers front floor board . You will need to remove the drivers seat and lift up the carpet and check the wiring harness that goes to the module that is in a black box look for broken wires and water damage to the comfort convenience module inside the box take a close look at the wiring wires tend to corrode and break . I hope this helps .
