My 2003 Jetta TDI which is normally housed in an insulated garage, was outside in a deep freeze all day yesterday. When I got in the car to drive home the glowplugs took a while before the light went out. About five minutes into my drive home,I noticed the ABS light comeone. Antoher % mins later the airbag light came on and I also noticed that the inerior lights were dimmer than usual. The car was in my garage last might and turned over no problem this morning, although I haven't driven it. I have an essential 45 min commute tomorrow. Should I be concerned?
Optional Information: Year: 2003Make: VolkswagenMake (other): JettaModel: tdi Already Tried: nothing, just drove it 10 minutes home and then tried to start the car today. I am just concerned that this is an issue that will prevent me from making my early morning commute tomorrowam. Should i book a rental car?
If you could go back out and start the car and drive it around for a little bit and see if or what lights come back on. then let me know
Thanks

I went out and it seemed to be fine. No lights coming on etc. So I went totopup on fuel and it wouldn't start after that. Got a boost and have left it at the dealership. The dash lights inside were very dim and apparently so were my driving lights. I assume the battery is kaput.
Ok I wouldn't say it is the battery. There is a wire from the alternator to the battery that is common to have problems with. also there is the alternator and the fuse ontop of the battery that could be the issues. so make sure that they check them all, not just put a battery in it.
