88 vw golf: 1.8 16V GTi and Im thinking..fuel injection..block

Hi there
I own a '88 VW Golf2 1.8 16V GTi and I'm thinking of changing the fuel injection system and would like to know what other system I can fit.Are there any other 16V top that would fit on my block?

You cannot easily change the fuel injection system, the 16v engines were all CIS mechanical fuel injection which most people believe to be better than the electronic injection anyways.

And there isn't any other 16v heads that fit yours no,but there were 2.0 liter 16v engines in the late model GLI, GTI, and the B3 Passat vehicles.
