2002 jetta gls: replace the oil pan..with 2.0 liter engine

Resolved Question:

I want to replace the oil pan on 2002 jetta gls with 2.0 liter engine. Can I do it myself, how difficult? Any body parts need to be removed? Anything like oil pump or other parts going to come flying out when I remove pan. Do u need gasget cement, torque of bolts etc.

Yes this can be done at home you will need a 10mm swivel socket so you can get to some of the bolts . Nothing will fly off when you remove it . I would go to the dealer and get the right silicone that is used for the oil pan its only like $25 .heres a picture to help you out on where all the bolts are.
