Have you recently changed the fuel filter or ran too low on fuel?

You likely somehow got air in the fuel system. TDIs are notorious for this no start concern. What I need you to do, sounds wierd but works. Is crank the motor, with your gas pedal to the floor. Keep cranking and cranking. If after about 60 sec, the motor doesnt start, give the starter about 2 min to cool down and do it again. Eventually you should start hearing some compression and it will start. Sometimes this can take up to 10 min. but always starts. I have something else you can do if after 10 min this has not started the motor.
