1985 jetta: many blow

I have had many blow on my 1985 jetta 2 in the last 2 days and one last week. what causes it and how can i fix it?

There is a good chance that you have a blown head gasket or cracked head. A vehicle that is having compression from the engine dump into the cooling system, can have blow outs on hoses. Also check the coolant cap to make sure that it is releasing presure at the correct PSI.
