the ignition switch will only turn to the point of engaging the starter, but not far enough to start
JA: Can you turn the steering wheel at all? And what about the key? Is it worn or damaged?
Customer: I can turn the wheel. The key fits and unlocks, just won't enter into the spring loaded portion of the cycle
JA: What is the model/year of your Volvo?
Customer: 200 240
JA: What year is your Volvo?
Customer: 2000 240
JA: Are you fixing your 240 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Ill try to fix it myself if i can. I have tried wiggling the wheel when trying to engage. thats it so far
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
