I was told my central controll module is bad....$1400 repair car is worth $2000...not good..Im a decent mecanic been working on my vrhichles for 40 years
JA: What is the model of your '00 Volvo?
Customer: on line the repair info looks simple...but whats the truth
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?

Customer: tried discconerct batry for reset,, still same problem A/C and shifting are not correct..

Check this link out. The CEM's do go bad in these earlier model Volvo's unfortunately, so I'm not shocked that yours would need replacement. I have gotten a few from this website before and have had no problems. This is your best option if yours is bad and will save you hundreds. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.
