Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

Do you still need help?

If battery connections are clean and tight then the next step will be to either swap in a known good battery or have this battery load tested. Most big chain parts stores such as Autozone and even Wal-Mart will test batteries for free.

It may be the battery. But could it be the immobilizer?
Expert:  sprinkles08 replied 5 months ago.

Not by your description. A security related issue is either going to prevent starter engagement completely or cause the engine to start, run briefly and die.
