Andy. I have a 2004 Volvo XC90 T6. I am getting a generic P 0571 code. Loss of Cruise control. Abs light. Brake warning light. No odometer. No trip meter. Brake warning message. What should I be looking for

Hello, Which sensor did you replace?
Expert:  Andy replied 8 months ago.
The code can be caused by a brake pedal position sensor, located in the brake booster. However, that would not cause the lack of odometer or trip meter. Those symptoms are usually an indication of a failed brake control module. A more specialized scanner would be needed to see what other code(s) may be stored and to see if the BCM is communicating.

A new BCM can be costly. To save some money, you might opt for a rebuilt unit or to have your unit rebuilt. Click here for information on that.
