what type of oil should I use on a 2003 Volvo 2.4 s60 some auto part say I should use 5w 30 synthetic oil some other mechanic say I should use regular oil please respond me with a right answer I don't want to mess up the motor.

Hello and thank you for your question,

Your S60 calls for 5W-30 regular motor oil which is come with from the factory but you are perfectly fine to also run the 5W-30 Synthetic as well if that your preference, I prefer the synthetic myself but its up to you.. There is no issue with using either type at all.
