Hi,

This vehicle doesn't use automatic lash adjusters, it has solid bucket style lifters (adjusted replacing with different sizes).
To that end, there isn't any real way to expect that a lifter failed on one of these engines as it is just a solid piece of steel.
What exactly happened with regard to the oil pump and how long was it driven?

It´s a B4184S2 engine, this one has hydralic lifters ???
Expert:  Doug replied 11 months ago.

I apologize, we only had the B4204T2/3/4 in my market that was solid lifters. I will opt out to allow for someone familiar with this engine to help you.

did you forget about me

The job to fix that noise will require more than just lifter you will have to remove cylinder take half engine a part and then to replace lifter guides and valves in that case to keep Cost lie best is go with used cylinder head and install that
