Hi I'm Kevin you have swapped coils and missfire has moved?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Correct, I replaced wires and wire plugs on the electrical side of the WI harness.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Wire harness was getting bad

If the missfire moved with coil then the coil will be the cause of the problem

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I switched coil from 3 Rd cylinder to 4 cylinder. The miss went from 3 to 2nd cylinder
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
This is 1.9 turbo 4 cylinder engine
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

I don't have full info on engine do you have 4 coils or 2?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
2 coils, coil on number 3 with plug wire coming off it to number 2. Coil on 4 with plug wire going to number 1
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

Ok so you purely swapped coils and missfire altough swapped from 3-2 it was using the other coil

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

Have you inspected the loom that runs to this coil?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
when I installed new wires I got from Volvo, I was able to check voltage with the car running. 13.59 volts.

I will opt out I'm slightly restricted from here without more detailed info someone else will be along shortly

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
When I switch coils back from three to four the miss goes back to numbed 3
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 year ago.

With this fact and the cost of coils I personally would recommend changing coils

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What more detail information can I provide? Okay, why doesn't the miss go to number 1 or 4. If you want to op out. I can wait for a noted tech.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
