Also swapped spark plug wires, didn’t make a difference

Hi there. Welcome to our site.

Both cylinders 2 and 3 fire off the same coil. Check the wires at the coil connector as these tend to deteriorate. When that happens, primary ignition circuit is affected by excessive resistance and causes one or both cylinders to misfire. If bad, Volvo sells the individual wires with the brass female fitting for about $10 each. Please let me know if that solves the issue. If not, we'll keep working on it.

Best Regards.

Volvo dealer is having a hard time finding a repair kit for this. As soon as I can get what I need to fix this, I will let you no if it works, thanks

Volvo part numbers are(###) ###-####for the repair wire (you'll need two per coil) and(###) ###-####for the connector (you'll need one per coil). You can also get those online from Voluparts.

Best Regards
