Looking to buy 2003 C70 Volvo but owner states the car wouldn't start so they replace the Battery with new one but still have the same problem, Dead Battery again. C70 has 56000 miles on it. Thanks LRG

Hello and welcome to our web page here. My name is ***** ***** I'm a Certified Volvo Car Expert Mechanic. I'm going to try to answer your question.if cat was sitting long it can bad fuel pump or even with old battery low voltage can take out modules and car will not start you best way but the car when it runs or take to VOLVO dealer to test modules for error codes each module on engine control cost $860 and you got 5-6 so you can bring cost up very fast if they bad or even fuel pump. Also will cost you $950
